We musicians seek connection with the audience, want to communicate with people on stage, and share our songs with the world. To stay in touch with you, my friends and fans, even during these times (keyword: Corona), I plan to broadcast a short concert (20-30 minutes) at least once a week on my YouTube channel. These concerts will feature not only myself but also musician friends such as Ingo and Michael from "Ess aitch cream" (guitar/vocals), Frank Weichert (guitar/vocals), Mathilda Meier (cello), Wolfgang Schaudt (saxophone/vocals), Helmut Dold (trumpet/vocals), Stefan Schüle (guitar/vocals), Jürgen Seitz (double bass/vocals), Raphael Becker (guitar/vocals), and others. For copyright reasons, only original compositions or cover songs will be performed at these concerts.
The idea behind the stay-connected online concerts is this: two musicians meet, play and interpret some of their songs, without actually covering any existing recordings. If space and time allow, other musicians are invited to perform specific songs. These musical encounters are intended to create new versions of the songs. The result is then recorded and streamed as an online concert. I find it exciting and I'm looking forward to every single musician.
